Toby's Transport Videos's video: Rail Action in Southern and Western NSW October 2018

Welcome back to Mixed Gauge Videos. In this video we take a brief look at some of the trains around the Riverina and Central West districts of NSW, Australia during the last weekend of October 2019. In this video we take in a variety of mostly older motive power in the form of engines used by SSR and to a lesser extent, Pacific National, with its 35 year old 81 class EMD powered diesels. With SSR we see aging Alcos, 1980s EMD's in the form of ex-Victorian Railways G class, and we see Qube logistics with their veteran DL531 model 830 class, and the ex-NSWGR DL500B model 44 class, along with some more modern motive power. I was also caught out by the passing of a barley train hauled by a pair of ex-Danish (DSB) "MZ" class 20-cylinder EMD's. All in all, an interesting video in a variety of locations.
