Welcome back to Mixed Gauge Videos. In this video we are in the North West of England in the great working class city of Manchester. This video takes a lineside look at a few parts of the city's tram system, which has been in operation since April 1992 and now has around 93 stops/stations and 100 kms / 62 miles of routes across 7 lines. Our video opens with scenes looking into Manchester Victoria railway station and watching the trams come and go. We later look at Manchester Piccadilly, Exchange Square, and the Ashton district.
