Toby G's video: USA Vlog 4 - San Francisco to Los Angeles

Our trip through the USA took us from San Francisco along the scenic Highway 1 all the way down to Los Angeles! DAY 9 We rented the car that would take us down to Los Angeles to drive around in San Francisco for one more day to check out all the locations that were a little bit harder to reach with public transport. We visited a lot of American stores like Costco and Muji, then went over to twin peaks to have a look over downtown San Francisco. In the afternoon we headed out to Battery Spencer to get some nice photos of the Golden Gate bridge before returning to the hotel for an early night. DAY 10 We left San Francisco and drove along Highway 1 towards Los Angeles. We stopped for a nice brunch at Loulou's in Monterey to be defeated by a single pancake between me and Celina. Talk about uebersized! It was a single pancake, 3cm thick and hanging over the edge of our plate and we did not manage to finish it... but it was delicious! We continued driving down along the cost, there was some beautiful scenery, seals, windy roads and lots of tourists along the way. In the afternoon we did a stopover in Morro Bay to grab some fish and chips and have a look at Morro Rock - a massive boulder poking out of the ocean much like Uluru does in the centre of Australia. We drove further along the coast but eventually as it got dark, turned inland to reach our destination for the day which was the Cheshire Cat Inn in Santa Barbara, an Alice In Wonderland themed bed and breakfast lead by a friendly couple. DAY 11 After a relaxing night in Santa Barbara and a yummi Englisch breakfast, we loaded everything back into the car and continued driving down to Los Angeles. We arrive in the early afternoon and were rather exhausted from the long trip from San Francisco. We wondered around a little bit, looked at a few shops and tried to avoid the armies of homeless people that seemed to roam the streets!
