Toby G's video: USA Vlog 1 - San Diego Zoo Las Vegas and Grand Canyon

Me and Celina went to the USA for 3 weeks and I recorded a holiday vlog to capture our experience! Day 1 to 4 was San Diego Zoo, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. The flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles was 15 hours long. But with some onboard entertainment we made it to Los Angeles with our sanity intact and picked up a rental car. We drove down to San Diego to visit the amazing San Diego Zoo. They had animals from all over the world: Giraffes, Elephants, Leopards, Meerkats, Rhinoceros, Giant Turtle, even an armadillo! It was a pretty impressive zoo and we had lots of fun spending the day there. In the evening we went out to the Sunset Cliffs. It was nice and scenic but getting clouded as we got there unfortunately. The day after we drove all the way from San Diego to Las Vegas through the Mohave desert. It was quite a long drive, but the landscape was beautiful and serene (discounting the highway full of cars we were on - I remember it being such a small road!). In Las Vegas we spent a lot of time shopping and exploring and on the morning of day 4 we drove to Sundance Helicopters to take a ride into the Grand Canyon! This certainly was one of the biggest highlights of the trip, unfortunately Celina did not enjoy the helicopter ride very much as she suffers from motion sickness. We had a little bit of time to walk around in the Grand Canyon and take in some of the breathtaking scenery before we were flown back out to Las Vegas.
