Tod Desmond's video: Kitaro Nishida: The Freedom of the Will

@Kitaro Nishida: The Freedom of the Will
In this video I examine an excerpt from Kitaro Nishida's An Enquiry into the Good. The excerpt focuses on the concept of free will. Nishida argues that a will is free if it acts according to the knowledge that it is an expression of the infinitely powerful unity from which the necessary laws of nature emerge. We are free when we realize that we are united with the universal source of the natural laws we must obey. I compare Nishida's opinion that freedom is obeying one's own laws (which are one with the laws of nature) to the opinions of Hegel and Carl Jung. I also compare Nishida's view to my theory, based on Jung's 1952 Leap Day equation, that each psyche is one with the gravitational singularity and its holographic horizon.
