Today's Special Minis's video: FIRST Memorydex Card BB z Bowz and Kraftz - InstaTUBE Giveaway

Brittanee from BB'z Bowz and Kraftz is hosting an InstaTUBE Giveaway to celebrate reaching 100 followers on Instagram and 200+ subscribers on You Tube. The giveaway is open to nation and international creators. For this giveaway we have to make a card (this is my FIRST one ever) and 4 tiny embellishments. I found the dimensions online and created a basic template in Microsoft Word. I then looked for suitable black and white butterfly clipart on Google and used it to make the template for my dex card. I traced the template onto lightweight cardboard from packaging and then cut it out. I painted it black and then cut a piece of acetate (from packaging) to fit the outline of the wings. I inked them with Distress ReInkers in los of colors. I added accents where needed. Since I made this dex card like a sun catcher - I am calling this a SUNDEX card!!! The Tiny Embellishments - I AM LEARNING TO MAKE EMBELLISHMENTS so I have been practicing making them a lot lately (videos will be coming soon, not necessarily tutorials, but explanations). These are made from recycled paper board from packaging and various other upcycled elements (see the video). I hand paint or color all my stuff unless it's from magazines or books. A NOTE ABOUT MY PROCESS/SUPPLIES - You may have noticed that I use some unorthodox methods and supplies in my crafting. And that is because I do NOT have all the supplies that I would like to have. But, hopefully, you will see that even if you don't have a ton of stuff - you can still create great art that you can be proud of. All you need is a little (sometimes, a lot) of creativity and willingness to play. Now, if YOU want to send me tools and supplies to help me create better stuff - I welcome any and all donations.
