Welcome to another episode of . Here is my entry for May in the Challenge. This month we had to make 3 "Treat Bags with Windows." The bags wee to have at least 3 embellishments on them. This month's twist was to use paints, texture paste, etc as an extra. This month, I decided to take the challenge a little further and create a CONCEPT art piece instead of just the bags themselves. So I thought of a fashion brand called Urban Candy that was about to release its first ever, exclusive, collectible "Bougie Bling Box" which would consist of handmade, sustainable, designer, limited edition jewelry and packaging. All the gemstones would be real, of course, and would cost over $1,000. But this would be the mock up for it. After I set the premise up for myself - the project took on a life and inspiration of its own. I really did have fun with this! *** NOTES *** Ideally, I would love to get an HP Inkjet AND HP LaserJet printer because each one has different pros and cons and would be used for different reasons. For now, I have to paint what images I need that do not come preprinted from magazines. I guess I don't mind, too much, this is giving me a chance to work on and improve my painting skills.
