Paddling the last 15 miles around the southern cape of POW Island I ran into feeding Humpback Whales, Eagles and lots of fishing boats. The conditions were nearly perfect for the trip until I rounded the cape. The currents were against me at the rate of about 5 knots and I pulled over and climbed up on some rocks to reconsider the situation
