Tom Hoffmann's video: Rigging Whoopie with OmniBlock

This video presents another configuration of the "Rigging Whoopie" The "Rigging Whoopie" is a system for light rigging, delivering WLL up to 1.5T for ½" rigging line. Alternative configurations and applications are shown in the Playlist "Rigging Whoopie". The "Rigging Whoopie" should not be confused with the "X/CMI Heavy Duty Rigging Whoopie", a 4.5T-3/4" system shown in a separate video. This video shows the Whoopie with the OmniBlock 2-inch pulley from Rock Exotica. In this configuration, the system doubles the effective MBS of the pulley from 36kN to 72kN. Using the pulley reduces friction and wear but slightly de-rates the thimble-only configuration from 100 kN and should not be used for dynamic loading.
