Instagram: @tom_milli https://www.instagram.com/tom_milli/ This video follows a weekend in my life, competing at Henley Qualifiers with the aim of reaching the Wednesday First round of Henley Royal Regatta. So this series culminated in this episode as if we didn't qualify it would have to be the last in the Henley Prep build up. We have been together as a crew for a matter of weeks but have managed to gel from the very beginning and with the win at Marlow last week - we were riding high on confidence coming into Qualifiers this weekend. The conditions were tough, with a strong head wind it doesn't favour lighter crews like ourselves. It was a mental challenge, with lots of strong crews and such an iconic stretch of water it was important to keep your head in the boat and row the set race. It wasn't perfect, it wasn't pretty at times - but we managed to get it done and QUALIFY FOR HENLEY! As one of the top 9 qualifiers, we didn't know where we finished in the time trial or what time we had clocked - however, we knew we had made it through.
