We finally got together and out in the Empacher 8+ that we will be racing at Head of the River in London and North of England Head in Chester. Crews don't always gel straight away and the first length or so of our Saturday morning outing was rough, unset and worrying. But, we all know how to row at this point and with some effort and good coaching we really got it together and came away feeling confident and excited to race. Some old faces from last year, some new faces - but a great bunch of lads and I'm excited to race in this crew over the next few weeks!
