In the first dream, I was on the rocky dark blue surface of a distant planet. This tall uebermensch stood there and began singing what became the verse to this song. In another dream, I was walking around a pond with a wise master and his disciple, when he turned to the disciple in a stern manner and sang the chorus melody. Most of the lyrics in this song tie into my Gnosis article http://montalk.net/gnosis ... for instance, "in a ship of copper 'round the circle blue" refers to Finnish hero Vainamoinen entering the maelstrom in his copper boat, symbolizing the descent of higher consciousness beneath the threshold of our current state of awareness.
