As a Modern Languages student at Durham University, I have to spend a year abroad in Spain. So, in September 2017 I moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the biggest city in the Canary Islands, just off the northwest coast of Africa. I'm working as a British Council English Language Assistant in a secondary school. Teaching English is such a rewarding experience, and to make it even better I'm living in a beautiful city!
