Tomes And Travel's video: August 2019 Bookshelf Tour YA Fantasy Literary Fiction Classics and Translations

@August 2019 Bookshelf Tour | YA, Fantasy, Literary Fiction, Classics and Translations
Can you believe it's been four years since I last filmed a bookshelf tour? During that time, my "home library" has changed quite a bit, as I've got rid of some books, bought some new ones, and spent time reorganising them all. I'm quite proud of the fact that I now have a relatively diverse bookcase full of all different kinds of genres to suit all different tastes - including children's books, young adult, fantasy, literary fiction, classics, and translations (from Spanish and French into English). This is current as of Summer / August 2019. Just wanted to say apologies for the slightly shaky camera in the last part of the video... After filming I realised I should have propped up my camera on a pile of books from a shelf above, but then my battery died and I wasn't able to re-film. Link to the video I mentioned: "Most enjoyable books that I studied as required reading at Durham University": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s69ildxp9Sk Some of my favourite books/writers mentioned are: - Warriors / Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter - Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs - All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr - The Name of the Wind by Patrick Ness - The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini - The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón - One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez - Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë - Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys - The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - Legend by Marie Lu - La Peste / The Plague by Albert Camus - Battle Royale by Koushun Takami - Eon by Alison Goodman - The Bookshop Book by Jen Campbell - The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield - La tía Julia y el escribidor / Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter by Mario Vargas Llosa - Los pasos perdidos / The Lost Steps by Alejo Carpentier If you have any questions about any of the books I mentioned, please leave a comment down below and I'll respond as soon as possible!
