TorontoPigSave's video: Bill 156 enabled the violent killing of Regan Russell Toronto Pig Save

@Bill 156 enabled the violent killing of Regan Russell | Toronto Pig Save
Bill 156 enabled the violent killing of Regan Russell on June 19, 2020. Bill 156 is Ontario’s new “ag-gag” law that punishes whistleblowers who expose illegal and unethical practices against other animals on farms and slaughterhouses. Regan would go to weekly Toronto Pig Save vigils outside Sofina’s Fearmans slaughterhouse to give water to pigs in transport and document their suffering to share with the public. It is no surprise that just two days after the passing of Bill 156 she was brutally killed for challenging the law. The animal agriculture industry now feels emboldened to hide animal abuse, and attack anyone who attempts to expose it. Not only nonhuman animals, but whistleblowers, activists, and concerned citizens are also victims of this draconian law. Bill 156 violates the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It is unconstitutional, undemocratic, and unethical. Find Out More: justiceforreganrussell.com
