90 Day Fiancé star Omar Albakour received some flak from fans who thought he might be too controlling. In the past, he’s tried to curtail certain quirks and behaviors of Avery Mills. 19-year-old Mills converted to Islam and met Omar Albakour on a Muslim dating application.  She and Albakour married on their first encounter, and Mills decided that if Albakour couldn’t get his visa processed in America, she’d leave to live with him in Syria. One specific encounter that had fans raising their eyebrows was Omar Albakour’s request that Mills not dance in the street.  “I don’t like it when you dance in public. It’s not good to see girl dance in street…wherever,” Albakour told Mills on an episode of 90 Day Fiancé.
