SUBSCRIBE LIKE AND SHARE!!! Bugatti Chiron: t produces 1,500 bhp from an 8.0L W16 quad-turbocharged engine. The car’s 22 gallon Chiron can be emptied in just nine minutes, going flat out. Top speed is electronically limited to 260 mph for safety reasons, but its anticipated top speed is believed to be 288 mph. Acceleration from zero-60mph is dealt with in a swift 2.5 seconds, 120mph in 6.5 seconds and 190 mph in 13.6 seconds. Chiron is hand-built by engineers and technicians at the Bugatti factory in Molsheim, France. Each car takes six months to build from scratch, showing the true dedication Bugatti had to the groundbreaking supercar. The factory where the Chiron is split up into 12 departments, which are operated by people, with no conveyor belts or robots used. After the engine has been attached to the chassis and the speed tests have been undertaken, the carbon fibre shell is fitted. This exterior is then exposed to 30 minutes of ‘monsoon-like’ rain to ensure it is watertight. Next the car is taken for a 360-mile test, on which it will travel up to speeds of 150mpg, before being given a dynamic seal of approval. Bugatti then send the Chrion to the paint booth where it is sprayed, cleaned and polished for up to two hours. This paint job is then scrutinised for tow hours in a light tunnel to ensure it is flawless, a process which can take up to three weeks to get perfect. Only 500 units will be built with a base price of around £2,158,110. Bugatti plans on delivering the first customer vehicles in the first quarter of 2017 and expects to build up to 70 of the £2 million cars this year.
