Slievenamon (720m) is a standalone mountain in south Tipperary - although some of the smaller prominent points on it's shoulders and surrounds also have summit markers and names, such as Knockahuna (502m), and Sheegouna (553m) Its name means "mountain of the women" - Slievenamon being the phonetic Anglicisation of "Sliabh na Mban".
