On August 27, 2020, Hurricane Laura made landfall near Southwest Lousiana and Southeast Texas. Just 43 days later, on October 9, Hurricane Delta made landfall in Southwest Louisiana. These hurricanes hit the same communities back to back. The people of Louisiana are struggling. Not all, but most are struggling, and they need people to see what is happening. Insurance companies are abandoning them in their time of need, the government is making cuts in their resources, and communities have been living for weeks and weeks without electricity.
