Short ident bumper for Primary WB Network Affiliate/Secondary UPN Affiliate WLWC with the announcer saying “You’re Watching WLWC UPN 28” identifying itself as UPN 28 despite the fact that The WB Affiliation was primary and the UPN Affiliation was secondary until April 2000. This ident aired between commercial breaks during the airing of the 8th Episode of the 3rd Season of Dawson’s Creek “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” which aired on The WB Wednesday Night November 24,1999 on on then Primary WB Network Affiliate/Secondary UPN Affiliate WLWC in Providence,Rhode Island/New Bedford, Massachusetts. In April 2000 WLWC switched their primary affiliation with UPN and their affiliation with The WB became secondary shortly after the announcement Paramount Stations Group and ACME Communications made a deal on February 22,2000 for 3 of its Paramount/Viacom owned UPN Affiliates in West Palm Beach,Providence/New Bedford and Columbus to carry WB Programming and in return for 3 of the Acme owned WB affiliates in St. Louis, Knoxville and Springfield to carry UPN Programming. WLWC would take The CW Affiliation on September 18,2006, the CW Affiliation would last until October 2,2017 when it took the ION Plus affiliation which lasted until February 26,2021 when Ion Plus ceased operations. Today it has the CourtTV Affiliation.
