Travel With Ram's video: Awesome Journey on BHOR GHAT - Lonavala Karjat Panvel Pragati Express

@Awesome Journey on BHOR GHAT - Lonavala Karjat Panvel Pragati Express
This video covers the complete journey on Pragati Superfast Express between Lonavala on the Bhor Ghat and Panvel which is the terminating station of Konkan Railway. I chose this train since it is faster to reach Nerul via Panvel rather than Dadar. Journey on Bhor ghat is always exciting and this time we will cross 2 trains up the Ghat with WCAM3 Bankers and just after Karjat we will have a race with an EMU towards Kalyan and the arrival at Panvel Junction, the Terminal point for Konkan Railway. Stay with me and enjoy. , VIDEO Chapters -r To help you navigate my video easily and may be watch some sections repeatedly I have made chapters for this video. As you watch you will see the names of chapters on the progress Bar. The chapters with names and the start times are available in the description. Happy watching. 0:00 - Preview of Video Content 0:34 - Depar from Lonavala, Bankers, Pragati Express 1:10 - Our Journey Begins across Bhor Ghat 2:00 - In BHOR Ghat, a brief about the Ghat 2:38 - The 1st Crossing - Vizag Express WDP4D 3:33 - Whys is Bhor Ghat very Crucial for Mumbai? 4:56 - End of Ghat and 2nd Crossing - Indore Pune Express WAP4 6:24 - Arrival at Karjat, The END of Ghat 7:48 - Depart from Karjat, Parallel action with EMU 9:04 - The EMU and the WCAM3 Bankers 10:28 - The EMU really takeoff - Great Acceleration 11:18 - Arrival at Panvel We are at Lonavala station on the upside of Bhor Ghat and so we would be travelling down the Ghat. There is a Banker Loco shed here since bankers are used between Karjat & Lonavala travelling up the Bhor Ghat. We are onboard Pragati Express now. There are 5 intermediate stations between Lonavala & Karjat but NO stops for this train. The next halt is Karjat where we will branch off to Panvel-Thane leaving the main line to Kalyan-Thane. Bhor Ghat is Mumbai's Gateway to Peninsular India via Deccan Plato. This ghat line is 21km long and is between Khandala and Palasdari. There are 28 tunnels and 8 Via-ducts across the railway ghat. Currently there are 3 lines, Up-Middle-Down and a fourth line is in advanced planing stage. This Ghat is subject to frequent land slides during Monsoon and disrupts train services. I am an avid traveler, like to see places of interest - Historic, Natural Beauty, Hindu Pilgrimage sites, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, popular tourist destinations. I capture what I am fascinated with and I also capture my journey by train, Rail Road, Ship, Air. I am fascinated by the uniqueness and diversity of the different modes of transportation. My Camera Gear - I use different Cameras for different purposes. My TOP Camera for long Zoom and some fascinating 4K stuff it is Panasonic FZ 300. Canon G7X MKII is my ideal choice for wonderful Video logging and some night photos. For catching actions, scenes on the go, and some hard stuff to catch using normal camers I use GoPro - GoPro Session 5 and GoPro Hero Black. For on the spot, on the Go and unanticipated and unexpected catches I use my new iPhone XR / OnePlus 6.
