@21 People I only met once , 6/21 The one after the Breakup - Wayne.

If something gets stolen there is a law to punish the culprit. But whats the retribution for the one who breaks your heart and steals your peace? Is hating them enough? Or we wait it out for Karma to do its magic? Usually my very first question to my guests is " What brings you to LA?". The answer from Wayne was a story what completely amazed me. This was Wayne's first trip ever. A father of two from Dallas, Wayne had recently separated from his childhood sweetheart. He did not know life beyond her, he had never had a relationship expect his marriage. All the firsts in his life happened with her, he knew life only with her. But after the separation, he realized he had to selfcare. So, after arranging care for his kids, Wayne hopped on a plane for a weekend in LA and found me on the Airbnb website as his host. I made sure I took Wayne at the best of the best spots in Santa Monica and Venice. Wayne requested, that he wanted to have a good lunch. So very organicy LA style, we sat for our lunch at the Butcher's daughter where I expressed to Wayne that I was proud of him for taking some " ME TIME" for himself and making the choice for taking a step towards his own future. I made him a list of things he should do in LA for the weekend and then we happily parted our ways!!
