Travelling Tourists's video: Santa Rosa NM Dining

Come and eat at the bank! I know right? You're thinking, "How is it possible that I should eat at the bank? How can anyone eat at the bank?" Well, it's really easy if you go downtown to Santa Rosa New Mexico and check out Lake City Diner! The building is the oldest rock structure in the entire city and it was made from stone masons. The building was originally erected as a bank. It had a small foyer for the customers to come to the tellers, and little cubical areas for the tellers to stand behind counters and bars. To this day you can still see where the floor changes. This outlines the bank area where the customers stood and where the bank tellers stood. The door that led to the vault is still within the building. Although the bank itself no longer functions there, now there is an amazing steel 400-500 pound door still functioning within the place. It serves to separate the kitchen from the dining area. Tutor and Anastasia Baca own and operate the restaurant. They have a friendly family hometown feeling to their atmosphere.
