In the third episode of Trek Nation Director's Log, Scott Colthorp, creator and director of the feature documentary, Trek Nation interviews Lydia Chilton, MIT Student - die-hard Star Trek fan. This was a short film Scott created for EPIX HD to promote the upcoming release of JJ Abrams' 2009 Star Trek on their network. Discovery Science will air the television version of Trek Nation on November 30th at 8 PM EST. Trek Nation Director's Log will feature exclusive, never before seen celebrity and cast interviews, deleted scenes from the feature documentary that didn't make it into the television special, a series of vintage Next Generation commercials Scott directed and related scenes from his two upcoming documentaries, "Good, True and Beautiful" and "Blackout".
