If you're like me, you are probably too hard on yourself. I am truly my biggest critic, judge, and sometimes my own worst enemy. This song came from this place of exhaustion from my own perceived failures in life. It didn't seem to matter how good I did, I never felt good enough. One morning, I wrote down the words, "Grace isn't something I want, it's just what I need." God sees us in our imperfection and STILL, he chooses to love us. I no longer have to face my own personal condemnation. Once this truth hit me, I felt free to be the best version of myself that I can be. Do I still make mistakes? ALL THE TIME. BUT...
