Welcome to Puerto Rico! I have been hearing about a town called Boqueron from fellow cruisers that is cool spot to go party for a weekend so it was finally time to go check it out! I met up with some friends from Luperon and we spent a night out getting smashed on all kinds of local drinks. Boqueron is a popular spot for all the students to come visit on weekends, with a near mardi gras feeling when it gets filled up. Unfortunately I was there during a slow weekend as most of the students were on vacation, but regardless a fun time was had! I started to sail along the south coast of the island but was interrupted by a late season tropical storm that was threatening to impact the area. Luckily an awesome hiding spot was not far away and we make it into a bioluminescence bay to chill out for a few days!
