Rawdio - Home (Original Mix) I have been wanting to pull off a sunrise mix for quite some time and finally I was able to find a great location on the island of Martinique to pull this one off! Man this was another tough mission, it took me 2 weeks of trying because I kept getting rained out in the morning, or skunked by no clouds to show off a sunrise, had a few hurricanes passing by and storming over us....I thought this idea was cursed! On top of all those issues the location I chose is also wide open to any southern swell, making it very rolly from side to side and impossible to get clean footage unless the sea state conditions were just right. I had to track down a gimble to use because there was still a bit of roll that was making the video a bit nauseating to watch, I think you will notice it still but at least the horizon stays still! I think this was also the first time I have EVER got up at 445 to start DJing, it was quite a strange feeling. With all that said, I hope you all enjoy the set, I really liked the concept of the sunrise session, so I hope to revisit it in the future and see if we can improve!
