In this live we discuss how the artist turned perfumer, Trill Noel, utilizes synesthesia to create for his perfumery house: Xarmony. "I am able to perceive a feeling and a color with each chemical or molecule I add to a formula. It allows me to translate new meanings to the canvas. It allows me to create olfactive works of art and fragrant masterpieces. Companies and perfumers today have lost touch with the ART of fragrance. Every new release seems like the same old clone of a clone with a slight modification. I made it my mission to PAINT new works of art. I will create a fragrance in my mind with a paintbrush. I like to add the sun setting in the distance. The shadows passing through the trees. A citrus grove. An air or tone of serenity. And most of all the babbling brook with wildflowers on either side. I enjoy translating aroma molecules into art. It allows me to establish a connection between my crafts."
