Trinity Court Studios's video: SMOKE Throwback: Handbrakes Left On A 55 MPH 19 Car NS OCS

Filmed back on April 2nd, 2019. I caught the NS OCS with NS 270, NS 276, NS 275, and NS 271 blasting by Tipton, PA with a great K5LA, and a massive 19 car OCS train in tow as they headed for Atlanta, GA. But look for the blue smoke from some of the coaches! At first we thought it was a hot bearing/hot box but then we heard on the radio.... A coal train gave the OCS a roll by,m and told them about the smoke!! The OCS crew realized they left 3 cars handbrakes on when they left Altoona!! I’m sure that went over well with somebody..... I took a quick visit to Tipton and Altoona PA to see the old Pennsy signal bridges take their last stand before being removed for PTC to make it totally obsolete.
