Trippin With The Smiths's video: How to Install your Reese Goose Box

This video has been about a year in the making. It didn't take a year to get it installed, but putting the finishing touches on it took a bit - mostly because I poked at it here or there. We decided to switch to this hitch from the Andersen for two reasons - the first was hoping for an even better ride, which it provides. The second was to get a cleaner truck bed, and hopefully more space. I think space is a wash, but we did get the cleaner truck bed. If you're installing one of these, plan on a couple hours of time, and ensure that you have safety chains to install as well. After getting it installed, I added a Bluetooth air compressor to adjust the air pressure, and it works out really well. What didn't work out really well - the Reese Goose box comes with a pressure relief valve to prevent overfilling the airbag. The first one that came with the unit released pressure at about 30 PSI, preventing proper operation of the pinbox. Etrailer and Reese worked to get me a new one, which also vented below 40 PSI. I just went ahead and removed it and plugged the fitting with a brass plug until I installed the compressor. We've got about 15k miles on it so far, and it's worked well. If you have a total weight and pin weight within its rating, I'd highly recommend using it.
