Rainbow Hair Flip video from TikTok and how to make colored powder hair flip from TikTok Star TrishaMayHaas - learn the behind the scenes of our tik tok video. The original video includes music from The Greatest Showman, which you can see on our Tiktok, but due to copyright on YouTube, we had to change the overlay music. We were really excited to share this video! We wanted to make a rainbow but when we buy colored powder (same thing as colored chalk), it doesn't come with Orange. We have been told the first four colors are like the Harry Potter house colors! Originally we wanted to create one flip with each part of the flip turning another color but its been super hard to edit so that may still be to come. To get started we filmed each powder color we had and did a normal hair flip. Then we cut each color down to .5 - .9 seconds and put on slow motion on TikTok. Behind the scenes, after all colors were filmed, Charlottes hair was a beautiful pink and purple, so we did some extra videos shaking her hair out, which you can see on our account. At the very end, Charlotte jumped in the pool to clean off. Editing took the longest, about an hour. This video had 2.2 million views in under 24 hours and at the time of this publication 332K hearts, so we are so happy a ton of people got to enjoy it. The green and blues can stain the concrete if left there too long (its just like sidewalk chalk) but usually comes off if we spray it down with a hose or power washer. Normally it takes one wash to get the powder out of our clothes. If we have white shirts on, then those can be a light pink if we use red and bleach has to be used to get it out. We use the same black and same white shirt for most shots. This powder is the same used in Color Runs. DOES THE POWDER DAMAGE YOUR HAIR? We get this comment ALL THE TIME on all our hair color videos. It washes out for no hair damage and is just powder. We can actually shake it out if we want but since we use so much, we do wash it out. As you can tell in all of our other videos, our hair is fine (both Charlotte and I). It is not actual dye.
