NYE candlelight vigil at Trinidad Lighthouse occupation in defense of a Northern California Yurok Tsurai cemetery & village site last occupied in 1915. Tribal and community members were invited to participate in a candlelight vigil at the site of the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse New Years Eve. This event is about protecting the Village of Tsurai. Supporters are in support of finding a new, permanent location for the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse away from Yurok burial grounds and the fragile bluff surrounding the Village of Tsurai.
