How and When will Jesus Christ receive His Church? This is the topic of the Rapture as discussed in I Thessalonians 4:13-18. Here Paul writes a letter to the Church in Thessalonica explaining to the believers the order of events leading to the Catching Up or Rapture of the believers into the presence of Jesus Christ in the Clouds. Rapture is the Latin term for the Greek Word Harpazo which translated into English is "Catching Away", when Jesus returns along the with souls of those who have already died "Ïn Christ". Paul explains that both the living believers and the dead believers will be resurrected at the same time. Both groups will receive a resurrected glorified body at the "Rapture"when they are caught up into the clouds, into the presence of the Lord. The Debate is on the timing of this event; Those who believe it takes place before the Triblation are know as Pre-tribulationists. Others feel it takes place in the middle of the tribulation, they are Mid Tribulationists. The third group believes it happens at the end of the Tribulation, they are Post-Tribs or Post Tribulationists.
