“Culturally Incorrect” is the first English-language TV show for the Afghan diaspora that discusses topics that are often considered taboo in our culture, such as dating, shame & guilt, as well as marriage pressures & stresses. Marriage can be challenging, especially when you add a rich and complex Afghan culture to the mix. From engagement rituals to actual wedding planning, it can be a lot to deal with before you've even made it down the aisle for the "aastah biro." But rituals and parties aside, the real test begins after the nuptials. Afghan marriages can be a difficult journey because of so many expectations, responsibilities and obligations.
