This fort is surrounded by sea. In the Arabian Sea, the fort here has not won anyone so far. Local people call it the name of the Ajinkya Fort. This fort is 90 feet high from the sea level and this fort is spread over 22 acres of land. Siddi Jauhar constructed this fort. It took 22 years to build this fort. There are a total of 572 cannons in this fort. Because of these cannons, no one can win this fort till now. The British, Portuguese, Shivaji, Kanhoji Angre, Chimmaji Appa and Sambhaji tried a lot to win this fort, but no one could succeed. There are 22 security checkpoints in this fort. It is believed that this fort is under the protection of Panch Pir Shah Baba. The mausoleum of Shah Baba is also in this fort. To reach the fort, must have to boat, Boat rent is Rs. 20 per person.
