Have you ever been Malaysia? In this video we take a look at two very popular travel destinations in Malaysia; the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and the smaller coastal city of Malacca (Melaka) further south. Kuala Lumpur is an impressively modern city thriving on oil money, hence the 452 metre tall twin Petronas towers, the highest twin towers in the world. Locations in the video from Kuala Lumpur include: KLCC Park (Lake Symphony Water Fountain Show), Batu Caves, Merdeka Square, Perdana Botanical Gardens, Islamic Arts Museum. Malacca or Melaka, is a smaller city lying south of Kuala Lumpur. It's notable for its interesting history, having been ruled successively first by the Portugese, then later by the Dutch and finally by the British. Locations in the video from Malacca include Jonker Street (night market), St Paul's Hill, Porta de Santiago (Remnants of gate of former Portugese fortress), Maritime Museum, Cheng Hoon Teng chinese temple (oldest chinese temple in Malaysia), Central Roundabout, St John's Fort (built by the Dutch), Melaka Zoo (200+ species).
