Ty Ty the Train Guy Productions's video: Strasburg Railroad 90: Steaming to Paradise

Our last stop on our quick Pennsylvania trip was to the oldest continuing operating railroad in North America, the famous Strasburg Rail Road. And the steam engine that we rode behind and chase was Starsburg Rail Road . 90 is a 2-10-0 Decapod built in 1924 by Baldwin Locomotive Works. Was built for the Great Western Railway of Colorado to haul sugar beet and other freight trains. 90 was the only Decapod purchased by the Great Western. 90 was also the largest and most powerful engine on the Great Western. Due to diesels taking over 90 was retired from the Great Western Railway in 1967 but later that year she was purchased by the Strasburg Rail Road in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, and she's been pulling passenger trains there ever since. 90 is the most powerful, largest, and youngest engine at the Strasburg Rail Road. 90 is also only 1 of 2 operating Decapods in the United States (the other being Frisco 1630 at the Illinois Railway Museum). We had a lot of fun chasing this amazing time machine, and now sit back and watch 90 steam on the Road to Paradise. I hope y'all enjoy.
