In this video, I will be discussing the CLINICAL characteristics of narcissists which tends to be a bit more complicated than pop psychology explains it to be. Trying to understand a narcissist can feel like trying to understand someone without seeing their face or hearing their voice. The ambiguity involved in narcissism makes it difficult to evaluate who they are. Covert narcissists tend to be difficult for main society to identify because they don't seem "out there" and they may appear shy, quiet, and sometimes even charming. The overt narcissist is loud, abrasive, and controlling.
