Thank you! In my opinion, the Galaxy Note 9 is one of the best all around phones money can buy right now. With it's s-pen, large screen, tons of memory and storage, it's perfect for work and everyday life. Now before you get to thinking too hard and saying OtterBox cases aren't for you, I'll just tell you right now that I think they're worth a look and in this video I hope to show and tell you why. First let's get pricing out of the way. These cases aren't going to be cheap…but not much is when it comes to the best of the best, right? Oh and yea…I'm a huge Marvel fan! Can't wait for Avengers 4. Alright, so today I have 3 cases from OtterBox. We're starting with the Commuter which after using these cases each for a few days I now, happens to be my favorite. What I like about the case it's light weight, about as thin as you'd expect for a proven protective case and that it's got huge bezels to protect the display. This case is easy to install, and I mention it because the defender is so much more challenging. I also like the fact that OtterBox is not trying to compete with the Beauty of the Note. They know their lane and they let the Note shine the way it was intended to. Along the bottom, you've got plenty of clearance to get to your S-pen, with a nice cutout for your speaker grill and mic. But then we come to the dust covers on the ports. Some of us like'em, so of us don’t. For me personally, I would like to see them removed from this case because I don't think you need them. I forgot to mention earlier that this is a 2 piece case, so you'll feel the difference between the rubber slipcover and the polycarbonate outer shell. The buttons here are great. They have a nice click and firm feeling to them. Up top, nothing but protection with a mic cutout. Here's just a quick look at the power button so you can see this side of the case. On the back, you've got a triangle shaped cutout to for your camera, flash and stuff. I find it really easy to hit the fingerprint scanner every time with this design so I'm not hunting around looking for it. And on the bottom, OtterBox branding. Right now I leaning towards this one. This case gives me a design I can live with for a protective case. Next we have the Symmetry. This is the thinnest case out of the bunch. It's also really light and the only one-piece case here. If you're looking for something in the middle between the commuter and the defender, get this one. Along the bottom you can see that the Symmetry does not have the port covers. On the sides, top and bottom, the rubber and polycarbonate is fused together. I do find that the buttons on the case require a bit more force to press than on the other cases I have today. Along the right hand side just about the power button there is some OtterBox branding, and on the back of the case, we got a similar triangle cutout to the commuter case with more OtterBox branding along the bottom. Most things are good for me with this case, except with any these cases, docking your phone is what you wont be doing! So I'll need to find a wireless dock. If you know of a good one, let me know. Lastly, we have the defender. Otterbox's most protective case. It's does comes with the belt holster and is the most expensive out of the bunch. When paired with a screen protector, you get a great deal of protection. I don't remember is this was on previous cases, but check out this memory foam-like insert. With the case when it comes to installing it, it's the most difficult out of the bunch which is why I'm going to show you to give you an idea of what it takes to get the case on the phone….so take a look In the hand this case does add extra weight to phone, but not so much that you don't want to use it. It feels awesome in the hand. I don't know if this is synthetic leather or what, but the material here feels really nice to me. After having used these 3 cases over the last week, OtterBox is on my radar again. For a premium phone, when you want protection you need a premium case. If you've enjoyed today's video, leave a thumbs up and a comment to let me know. If you're new here, subscribe before you go. As always, I'd like to thank you for watching, and I'll talk to you in my next one!
