Per BenQ, the HDRi sensor detects ambient light levels and will simultaneously assess and refine the on-screen image for ideal display performance. So far my experience has been awesome! The colors are vivid, it has tons of detail and contrast, and the image clarity is a wow factor. This monitor can deliver power to your laptop through a Type C cable, which was super important for me along with the fact that I wanted something that had decent sound. For me, the BenQ EW3280U performs much better than I could have imagined. Since primary usage was going to be for my work from home setup, I really didn't need something of this caliber and quality, but I wanted it to perform double duty and be future proof in this setup. Who knows, I may some decide I want to use it for console or PC gaming. Today though, I most definitely will be using it to consume content on YouTube and of course for watching movies and this is where this monitor excels. I'm going to get into all the reasons today why if you're on the hunt for a new monitor for your desk setup that this could be the one.
