UCSI University's video: Book Launch Forum on Resetting Malaysia: Faith Education and Society

This forum focuses on one of the main issues of the book ‘Resetting Malaysia’ specifically concerning education on a personal, professional and community level. The moderator and panellists discussed on how the values of appreciating diversity can be instilled in all the citizens of Malaysia regardless of race and religious faith by means of the personal and private initiatives of citizens, corporation, and private educational institutions. The forum side steps the issue of changing the national curriculum and the public universities as these two entities have been shown to be dominated by a social, political, and religious narrative that does not encourage or strengthen the idea of a multicultural Malaysia as envisioned by the founding fathers of this nation.
