UKAstroNut's video: Ceres and Dawn: What are the bright spots
@Ceres and Dawn: What are the bright spots?
We know quite a lot about most of the planets in our solar system, but the minor planet Ceres is still relatively unexplored and unknown. Lying between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, Ceres is one of the least famous planetary bodies in our solar system. But the recent NASA mission Dawn which is on its way to study Ceres has found evidence that Ceres could be one of the most interesting bodies in our solar system. But what has Dawn seen on Ceres that makes it so intriguing?
