Leading stars of hit TV series The Bill took part in a virtual reunion during lockdown to mark the iconic police series coming to free video-on-demand service UKTV Play from the first episode. Fan favourites Trudie Goodwin (WPC June Ackland), Chris Ellison (DI Frank Burnside), Eric Richard (Sgt Bob Cryer), Mark Wingett (PC Jim Carver) and Graham Cole (PC Tony Stamp) joined the video call, reminiscing on their most memorable moments on set and answering fan questions. The Bill: The Early Years (Series 1-5) is available to stream exclusively on UKTV Play FOR FREE, from 1st May, with series 6-9 scheduled to join the service, one series a month from 1st June.
