The Riegersburg is situated in the county of Styria and has roots that go back to the 12 century and eventually even longer. From the valley station you can take a cable car that takes you directly to the Riegersburg. Going up for a family costs 10 EUR and going down is 5 EUR. We entered the castle as a family and if you pay an extra 2 EUR you can take as many photos as you like. The museum inside the castle is split up into castle, witches and weapons. Unfortunately everything was written in German and English translation was only available on leaflets.
