Since its release, 'Beautiful Music' has been met with rave reviews from press and radio with many highlights including landing in the top 10 of the North American college radio charts and on the Canadian Earshot National Hip Hop charts for multiple weeks. The album has been praised by other Musicians, Producers and MC’s alike. The record was entirely self produced and recorded by Danny at his Hamilton based studio, The Pillowfort. Danny's live shows feature a unique interpretation of the record, in which he performs the album with live drumming, percussion and samples set to the amazing visuals from Tyson Bodnarchuk. With a new excitement the songs are fresh and vibrant while maintaining his signature dusty jazz and funk inspired groundwork. Throughout the spring and summer of 2024, a select number of newly recorded and re imagined tracks off 'Beautiful Music' will be released with vocal features, as stand alone singles and EPs. The new releases feature vocal collaborations from artists including Shad, Saukrates, Aquakultre, Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, Moka Only, Eamon McGrath, and many others. The forthcoming special edition of ‘Beautiful Music’ is due in stores this fall 2024. This project is funded in part by FACTOR, the Government of Canada and Canada’s private radio broadcasters.
