In a departure from long-standing Department of Education guidance, the new Title IX regulations will permit informal resolution and restorative practices options in the context of sexual assault cases on campus. In the continuation of the Title IX New Regulations webinar series, this session panelists explained the informal resolution provisions of the new regulations, and provided practical information about practices through which parties and institutions can choose to resolve sexual assault complaints without a formal hearing process.
