UVM Continuing Ed's video: UVM Dr Jan Carney Talks About Public Health Lessons Learned from COVID-19

Jan Carney, MD, MPH says that the public health system in America must be addressed: it's a complicated system with high costs and the health outcomes in our country, just aren't good enough. In this short video, Dr. Carney talks about the public health lessons she thinks we need to learn from the Coronavirus Pandemic. Dr. Jan Carney is the Associate Dean for Public Health and Health Policy at the University of Vermont Robert Larner College of Medicine. In addition to also being a Professor of Medicine at UVM Medical School, she was the Commissioner of Health for the State of Vermont for 13 years. She directs UVM's Master of Public Health programs.
