UVM’s Wellness Environment supports the emotional and physical health of students with evidence-based, groundbreaking research in neuroscience. In this webinar, participants learned about recent studies regarding student's wellbeing during COVID-19 as well as the vision and implementation of UVM's successful WE or Wellness Environment program. This presentation is a preview of topics discussed at the 30th Anniversary of Legal Issues in Higher Education Conference Oct 19 - 21. Panelists included: Jim Hudziak, M.D., Creator and Director of the University of Vermont Wellness Environment (WE) Annie Stevens, Ph.D., Vice Provost and Dean of Students at UVM Tom Sullivan, J.D., President Emeritus and Professor of Political Science at UVM UVM’s Wellness Environment (WE) has received national attention for its unique combination of: A 3-credit neuroscience course showing the impact that good life choices have on the developing brain.
