High school students continue to adjust to virtual learning either in a fully remote or hybrid model this year. Many students and families are wondering how high school students can best prepare for and consider their college options. High school seniors are trying to figure out how to pick a college when campuses are closed to in-person visits. 9th, 10th and 11th graders are wondering how they best prepare for college when learning remotely or in a hybrid model. In this interactive and informative webinar from the University of Vermont, a panel of school counselors provided advice to parents and students on how to build a college list, how to remain competitive for college admission, and how high school juniors and seniors can make the most of this fall. In addition, a recent high school graduate and current first year student at UVM shared his experience being a remote student his senior year in high school and then transitioning into college during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Resources for parents and students are also provided.
