UVM Continuing Ed's video: Geographic Information Systems GIS and Data Communication at UVM Webinar

There is increasing demand for professionals in Geospatial Analysis, including health informatics and locational intelligence. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics identifies Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a field with a “bright outlook” for future career opportunities. The University of Vermont is a leader in the use of geospatial technologies and research, ranging from creating new information data sets to applied research in support of decision making. A new fully online Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Data Communication Professional Certificate at UVM serves professionals with different academic backgrounds and a variety of disciplines.
